C-Pen works as an electronic highlighter that scans to remember
printed text and barcodes. The scanned text and barcodes can
be stored in the C-Pen or transferred to a Microsoft

Windows 95,
Microsoft Windows 98, or Microsoft Windows-NT based PC or
WorkPad PC Companion using infrared communication. Collected
text is fully editable.
Additional functions:
• C Write enables users to write digital notes.
• C Calendar allows users to organize appointments.
• C Address saves contact information and is synchronized with
Microsoft Outlook.
• C Dictionary is a software package that enables the C-Pen to
translate words in less than a second. Each package contains a full-
sized, two-way Oxford University Press or Norstedts dictionary. Avail-
able for the C-Pen 600 and 800 only.
• C Message allows users to send short text messages or complete
text files via infrared-enabled cellular phone. Available on the C-Pen
800 only.
